About the guide
Good Dog Cincinnati is a local publication about enjoying life with dogs throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky — from parks, trails and patios to getaways, adoption, rescue, and the people you trust to care for your dog.
We believe the best local guides feel like advice from someone who knows the area: useful, honest, specific, and easy to explore. That's what we're building here — one good find, one good answer, and one good dog at a time.
The Good Dog Cincinnati Newsroom
Goldie is the recurring personality and public-facing editorial character. Chris is the human publisher behind the publication.

Goldie is the four-legged face of Good Dog Cincinnati, sniffing out the places, stories, questions, and local finds worth knowing about throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
You'll find her throughout the publication — introducing guides, answering questions, keeping Goldie's List, and lending her name to our Paw Rating system.

For more than 25 years, Chris has helped plenty of good dogs—and their humans—find the perfect place to call home throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
That experience is part of the inspiration behind Good Dog Cincinnati. When you've spent decades helping people make their homes here, you learn that where we live is about much more than the house itself. Parks, neighborhoods, local businesses, trusted resources, weekend adventures—and yes, the dogs in the family—all help make a place feel like home.
Good Dog Cincinnati brings that local perspective to life with dogs throughout the region. Here, Chris serves as Publisher & Editor-in-Chief while Goldie handles the reporting.
When she's wearing her real estate hat, Chris helps buyers and sellers throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky at Greater Cincy Homes .
